Interviewed on RTÉ radio in Ireland today, Gerry Adams, President of Sinn Féin, stuck to the hard line, saying that we should burn the bondholders, and invoke the true principles of republicanism to separate the public's debt from the banks' bad debt. Sinn Féin has uncompromisingly said, "IMF go home, and take your money with you!"

Anything can happen in a mass strike period of history. Brian Cowens Irish government just toppled, days after boasting that he would lead his party to victory in the next election. Sinn Féin is now leading the opposition in Ireland to the inter-alpha group of banks and the British Empire, and the sudden fall of such a fragile government should act as a warning to Obama.
