REPORT:

NPA Conference
Stars in an Electric Universe

Wallace Thornhill, a leader of the Thunderbolts movement, presents the evidence for electric stars in an “electric universe,” in opposition to the standard theory of how stars are formed and operate.

DESCRIPTION

Evidence that the Earth has dramatically grown in size over the past few hundred million years? A presentation of the clearest cases of intrinsic redshift found in galaxies? Proof of “structured water” forming what might be considered a new state of matter? And a series of arguments for the death of a solely gravitational-based cosmology, and its replacement by an electrical and plasma dominated universe?

You could not keep the Basement team away from such an event!

The July, 2011 annual Natural Philosophy Alliance (NPA) conference fulfilled its promise to bring together a loose alliance of “dissident scientists” from around the world to present their rogue ideas. This was the first year that the NPA jointly held the event with the “Thunderbolts” organization, a group dedicated to the view that electrical and plasma processes are the driving forces in cosmology, in explicit opposition to the gravity-only theories which currently dominate.

A small Basement contingent covered the four-day event, filming a number of the presentations, and engaging in many interesting discussions. As some of the presentations provided material directly relevant to our ongoing work, we are hosting videos of 5 of the most interesting presentations here.

Comments and thoughts on the content presented are encouraged, please direct them to our Basement Blog posting on this event here.

Gerald Pollack has pioneered work on what he refers to as “structured water.” His experimental demonstrations show that water, when in contact with certain substances (including biological substances), will form a structured region millions of molecules thick, from which certain substances and objects are excluded, charge separation occurs, and can even induce motion, among other fascinating prop

David G. Russell gave a fascinating presentation of some of the best case studies for what is called the “intrinsic redshifts” in other galaxies. His work is in continuation and limited collaboration with Halton Arp, who first discovered this redshift paradox.

David Talbott, a leader of the Thunderbolts movement, presents evidence for an "electric Sun," in opposition to the standard theory of the Sun. The electric Sun hypothesis, which originated with other thinkers half a century ago, theorizes that the Sun is not driven by internal fusion, but by interstellar, galactic electrical currents.

Neil Adams presents the case for an Earth that has grown dramatically in size over the past 200 million years. Showing that none of the ocean floor is older than 200 million years, and that the continents fit together across not only the Atlantic, but the Pacific Ocean as well. He then takes on the question of the subduction hypothesis directly.
