Bill Roberts: Russia Is the Most Important Strategic Ally of the United States

by Bill Roberts, Candidate for U.S. Congress (MI)

In a webcast given by Russian Federation Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on December 15th, in response to a question as to whether he feels that Russia is surrounded by foreign enemies, Putin stated that, “Russia has many allies.” He continued, “We would like to be allies of the United States, too.”

Though raised in the context of a critical tone against the expansion of the U.S. - NATO anti-ballistic missile shield in Europe, he nevertheless reiterated his intention to “continue to build relations” with the United States. Revisionist history aside, Russia has been the most important strategic ally of the United States throughout our nation’s history, from the role of Catherine the Great in the League of Armed Neutrality during the American Revolution to the deployment of the Russian Navy by Czar Alexander II of Russia to prevent the British Empire from joining the side of the Confederacy in armed combat against Abraham Lincoln’s Union.

The most important collaboration, however, is that which has yet to be initiated and is signaled by the potential for collaboration between Russia, the United States and other nations such as China to develop the Arctic polar region as a stepping stone to man’s development of the solar system.

Despite all the hype in the western media, the most recent protests against “unfair elections” in Russia, come largely from groups backed by traitor against the Russian people Mikhail Gorbachev. This attack against Putin has been coordinated by Gorbachev and President Barack Obama, with his brutalization of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as an important part of an attempted sabotage of U.S.-Russia war-avoidance collaboration between Clinton and her counterpart in the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov. Obama’s own treasonous role is made more clear by those phone conversations with Gorbachev, a man hated in his own country as a thief, and known for his rejection of Ronald Reagan’s offer to collaborate on the Strategic Defense Initiative, a rejection which ultimately led to the destruction of the Soviet Union and has allowed for the continuation to the present day of the threat of mankind’s extinction by thermonuclear war. Every string of every puppet of the British Monarchy is now being pulled to unleash this hell.

It is indeed ironic that the most critical American opponents of Putin in the United States, those who would make him out to be another dictator like Gaddafi, are the very same people like John McCain who just enthusiastically supported Obama’s demanded addition to the recently passed National Defense Authorization Act, which allows the U.S. military to be used for the arrest and indefinite detention of U.S. citizens. In McCain’s strange logic, Obama not being able to order the detention of U.S. citizens without trial would be an inconsistency, since he is already killing U.S. citizens without trial.

As the old saying goes, “whom the Gods would destroy, they first make mad.” In the case of some however, it’s not a long trip.

The President of the United States is clinically insane; a truth which should have caused leading members of the U.S. Congress to invoke the 25th Amendment after the evidence of that truth first became clear as the light of day. The postponement of that action cannot wait another single day. There are now only really two parties in the United States: not Republican and Democrat, but patriots who will break with the logic of compromise with an insane system of monetarism, empire and war, and those who will follow the insane into hell.

The membership criterion for the former of those parties will be presented by Sky Shields and Cody Jones of the LaRouchePAC Basement Team in a live webcast dialogue entitled: A Policy Initiative for the Survival of the Human Species, this Saturday December 17th at 1 PM EST.
