Minnesota Glass-Steagall Resolution

On April 10, 2013 H.F. 1744 was introduced into the Minnesota House of Representatives "memorializing Congress to enact legislation that would reinstate the separation of commercial and investment banking functions under the Glass-Steagall Act". The bill was initiated by a Republican Representative and has a list of bi-partisan cosponsors. The bill has been referred to the Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy.
