A Fateful Week

The questions which Lyndon LaRouche put on the table with Operation Juarez in the 1980s, and which Lyndon and Helga LaRouche put on the table with the Eurasian Landbridge in the 1990s, are coming to a head this week. Ambassadors of the Organization of American States (OAS) member states are meeting in Washington today, and then OAS Foreign Ministers on Thursday, on the topic: "Restructuring Sovereign Debt — The Case of Argentina and its Systemic Consequences."

On Sunday, June 29, a statement by the Presidency of Argentina ran as a full-page ad in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal. It put Obama's (and Justice Scalia's) United States in the bulls-eye for their destruction of sovereignty. It said that Argentina is paying its debt, and "This sovereign decision on the part of the Argentine Republic serves as a warning to the United States about the consequences of its acts, in view of the international responsibility that falls on it with regard to the decisions adopted by its judiciary,...

"The fact that the [bond] prospectus tranfers jurisdiction to the U.S. does not mean accepting court decisions that are impossible to comply with, all the more so if any such decision violates the sovereign immunity effective in the U.S. as a higher-ranking institutional rule...

"The judge's bias in favor of the vulture funds and his true intention are crystal clear: to push Argentina into default so as to destroy the 2005-2010 debt restructuring agreement that it reached with 92.4% of its creditors following lengthy negotiations.... But he will not achieve his goal for quite a simple reason: the Argentine Republic will meet its obligations, pay off its debts and honor its commitments as it has been doing, in order to put an end to the ploy of presenting an absurd court decision with systemic effects at an international level as a 'technical default,' which is merely a sophisticated way of trying to bring us down to our knees before global usurers."

The whole OAS (except, perhaps, for Obama's U.S.) backs Argentina. The BRICS and the G-77 back Argentina, and France filed an amicus brief for Argentina before the U.S. Supreme Court. Why France? Both because Argentina was legally in the right, and because a victory by the parasitic vulture funds threatens immediate systemic collapse. This bail-in even puts the IMF's own planned bail-in in jeopardy.

There is an unprecedented wave of solidarity in behalf of a sovereign government defending its population and the common good against the British empire's greedy usurers. This at the moment in which their system is about to blow, and just as the BRICS nations are to gather in Brazil July 15, with participation by the Presidents of China, Russia, and Argentina, and perhaps a dozen more heads of government from South America. When China has announced an Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and the BRICS group is developing an institution which may be similar. Russian President Putin is to visit Argentina already on July 12, before the BRICS meeting.

As Helga Zepp-LaRouche said Sunday, the extension of the New Silk Road ferment, that of the Eurasian Land-Bridge, is coming to South America. As the trans-Atlantic system is sinking, the New World Economic Order is rising,— what we had fought for in 1989, but which was defeated by Margaret Thatcher and British assets Mitterrand and George H.W. Bush.

What is required now in the U.S. is LaRouche's Four Laws. Most immediately, Obama must be impeached, now that the proof is in that he knowingly lied to the American people about the September 11 terror attack in Benghazi. Plans are being finalized for an across-the-board, in-depth mobilization into the Congress, which will be in their home districts this week, around the singular theme of Lyndon LaRouche's June 24 statement, "Hillary Clinton's Benghazi Revelations Mean Obama Must Be Impeached Immediately!"
