Detailed Coverage of Jones/Massie Efforts to Declassify 28 Pages, LaRouche's Analysis of Saudi/British Monarchy Role in 9-11

There was excellent, detailed coverage on Friday in The Raw Story and The Blaze on the efforts of Rep. Walter Jones (R-N.C.), Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and former Florida Sen. Bob Graham to declassify the 28 pages of the joint congressional inquiry into the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks in New York City. Prominent in the Raw Story coverage is extensive coverage of Lyndon LaRouche's analysis—EIR and LaRouche PAC are cited as sources—of the British/Saudi role in 9-11 and its subsequent coverup.

Germany's Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung on Friday quotes Walter Jones's attack on John Boehner's lawsuit against Obama, saying impeachment would be less costly.

Both U.S. media stories are related to the newly-posted video of Massie's remarks from last March's press conference on Capitol Hill, which featured Jones, Massie, and Rep. Steve Lynch (D-Mass.) on the need to declassify the 28 pages, prompting conservative commentator Glen Beck to invite Massie on his July 30 show. He told Beck that "the American public needs to have it," adding that while "it will not endanger us to release this information, it could end up as an embarrassment" for potentially two presidential administrations.

The Blaze, whose article is entitled "Former Senator Says Huge Breakthrough is Coming with Classified 9/11 Information," contains a link to EIR's transcript of the March 12 conference. Reporting on the introduction of H. Res. 428 by Jones and Democrat Steve Lynch of Massachusetts, calling for declassifying the 28 pages, which was joined by Tennessee Republican John Duncan today, The Blaze quotes Jones saying that there is nothing in the 28 pages that "would be considered national security, but there are things that deal with relationships, and information that led to relationships that were involved in 9/11."

Despite referring to the LaRouche movement as a "left-wing fringe group," The Raw Story accurately reports on LaRouche's evaluation of the British/Saudi role, quoting him, "We know exactly who did it; it was done by the British monarchy. The British monarchy set the whole thing up. That's the guilty party, and that's what the coverup is all about." It goes on to note that LaRouche has "suggested for years that Britain controls the world's political economy and international drug trade using strategies such as funding terrorists to destabilize nation-states, developed by medieval Venice."

Raw Story references links on LaRouche PAC's website to other documents "suggesting 9/11, as well as the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya was funded as part of the ongoing Al Yamamah weapons-for-oil deal set up by the British aerospace company BAE Systems and the Saudi government."

Both Raw Story and Blaze quote former U.S. Senator Bob Graham, who co-chaired the congressional inquiry into 9/11, asserting that the classification of the 28 pages "was part of a larger effort to cover up Saudi activity in 9/11," which "wasn't an individual decision by the FBI or the CIA or the NSA, but that there was some federal directive to all the agencies to take those actions that would disguise Saudi activity in 9/11." With recent court ruling in New York allowing a case against the Saudis by 8,000 plaintiffs to go forward, and the release of 80,000 documents in Sarasota, Florida pertaining to the Saudi role, Graham told The Blaze he is certain that there will soon be a major breakthrough, not just regarding the declassification of the 28 pages, "but so much more."
