Psychotic Rantings from Obama in Estonia Show Why He Must Be Impeached
September 4, 2014 • 5:07AM

Speaking yesterday in Tallinn, Estonia, President Obama gave a vivid demonstration of why he must be removed from office before he plunges the world into thermonuclear war. Especially egregious were Obama's lies about Russia and Ukraine, and his gloating about the supposed economic damage which sanctions are claimed to have inflicted on Russia.

After the obligatory praise for Estonia, and his paean to NATO, he began ranting about Russia's "aggression" and "brazen assault" on Ukraine, and launched into a series of shameless falsehoods about the neo-Nazi coup in Ukraine last Spring:

"The protests in Ukraine on the Maidan were not led by neo-Nazis or fascists," Obama lied, despite all the evidence to the contrary. "They were led by ordinary Ukrainians, men and women, young and old, who were fed up with a corrupt regime and who wanted to share in the progress and prosperity that they see in the rest of Europe. And they did not engage in an armed seizure of power...."

"It was not the government of Kiev that destabilized eastern Ukraine. It's been the pro-Russian separatists who are encouraged by Russia, financed by Russia, trained by Russia, supplied by Russia, and armed by Russia. And the Russian forces that have now moved into Ukraine are not on a humanitarian or peace-keeping mission. They are Russian combat forces with Russian weapons in Russian tanks. Now these are the facts. They are provable. They're not subject to dispute. As a result of state-run propaganda, many Russians have been convinced that the actions taken by their government is strengthening Russia, but reaching back to the days of the czars, trying to reclaim lands lost in the 19th century is surely not the way to secure Russia's greatness in the 21st century."

After raving about how NATO and its allies will stand firm against Russia's "aggression," Obama spewed out a fantasy-ridden account of the damage wrought by the West's sanctions against Russia:

"Russia is paying a price. Capital is fleeing; foreign investment is plummeting, because investors know that today's Russia is a bad bet, given its behavior. The Russian economy has slipped into recession. Its energy production, which is the engine of the Russian economy, is expected to drop. Its credit rate something near junk status. The ruble just fell to an all-time low. In short, Russia's actions in Ukraine are weakening Russia. Russia's actions are hurting the Russian people. And it doesn't have to be this way."

"We have no interest in weakening Russia," Obama lied. "It's a nation with a rich history and a remarkable people. We do not seek out confrontation with Russia," he said, all the while gloating about what he called "Russia's isolation and economic woes."

Would a ton of BRICS bring Obama to his senses?

Additional U.S. Forces to Baltics

In Tallinn yesterday morning, Obama announced plans to send additional U.S. military personnel and aircraft into the Baltic states. Noting that, in response to Russia's actions in Ukraine, the U.S. is already rotating additional personnel and aircraft through the region as part of the NATO Baltic air policing mission, Obama said the U.S. will now send still more. "Today, I can announce that this initiative will include additional air force units and aircraft for training exercises here in the Nordic-Baltic region," he said.
